Laban Atuzarirwe is a resource with Fifteen years of work experience in banking, research operations, management and leadership of organizations. He has worked with Standard Chartered Bank, Kampala International University, Research Hub Ltd- Kigali.  He has also experienced working with NGOs and CBOs including GOAL- Uganda, Family Planning Association of Uganda, Straight Talk Foundation, Community Orphans and Family Support Project, and a director at KAL solutions Centre Ltd. He has dealt with performance management, processes and system setup and change, regulatory compliance, team leadership and involvement as well as risk management.

Laban has a Masters of Arts in Local governance and planning (MUST), a Postgraduate diploma in project planning and management (MUST), a bachelor’s degree in social work and social administration (MUK). He has also trained in Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and skills (University of Michigan).  He carried out research about Cluster strategy and the development of SMEs in Uganda, coping strategies among migrant populations in Uganda, and Social service delivery in refugee camps focusing on Oruchinga and Nakivale refugee camps.
