Justus Muhwezi

Justus has over 14 years of work experience in project and program management, design, monitoring and evaluation and leadership. He has worked with different organization including Agency for Cooperation and Research in Development (ACORD) International – Uganda, Action Africa Help International (AAHI) Uganda Program; and American Refugee Committee (ARC) – Rwanda Program. He has served as project assistant, program officer and program manager where is experienced in program development, implementation and management, financial and human resource management, program reporting, coordination and stakeholders’ collaboration and networking, procurement logistics in line with organizational policy and best practice; quality assurance, advocacy; fundraising, and reporting

He holds a Msc in population and reproductive health and BA Adult and community education. He has Participated in a training on Conflict Sensitive Approaches (CSA) organized by Democratic Governance Facility (DGF); Do  No  Harm  approach  training  organized  by  Africa Humanitarian Action and OXFAM respectively; Advocacy  and  policy  influence  for  Non  Governmental Organizations in Uganda; Documentation, Monitoring and Evaluation; strategic directions for projects at MTAC. He has also undertaken research on determinants of duration of breastfeeding in Uganda; “Root causes of retrogression and eventual collapse of most OMIPA cooperative savings and credit society member groups during the period 2006-2009” ; socio-economic, environmental and health effects of the lagoon on the people, vegetation and animals within and surrounding areas; Group Process for Tank Construction in Oruchinga valley
