Julius Turyamwijuka holds a MA Econ Policy Management (MUK), BA Economics (MUK), Diploma in Accountancy (MUBS), Certificate in Advanced Management (ESAMI) and Senior Management Programme (Mananga Mgt Institute- Swaziland)
Julius has over thirty-three years of experience working with different institutions and his latest being Regional Branch manager at Bank of Uganda, where he has worked since 1988 in different capacities. He also worked with FALCON Security Guards Ltd, Lecturer at UCU of Finance and Strategic Mgt
Areas of experience include: Information dissemination on the domestic currency, Management of currency circulation and adherence to regulatory requirements by Commercial banks, Departmental Budget management, Reconciliation of central bank position and commercial bank accounts, Transport Logistics management among others.
He has also conducted research about the Constraints to Financing Nontraditional exports in Uganda; a comparative study of Ghana and Uganda, and Treasury bills awareness survey on behalf of BOU
